Customer and future-oriented solutions in the aluminum die-casting process

The ae group presents new possibilities in the die-casting process to meet the challenges of electromobility with innovative solutions. For the realization of the intelligent thermal management, especially in the design of efficient cooling in components of the electric drive train, the well-known assembly costs and the resulting challenges cause problems for the automobile manufacturers. Complex mechanical processing of joining surfaces, expensive seals and risks of leaks are notable examples. To reduce these "customer pain points", ae has developed customer-oriented solutions, e.g. a one-piece aluminum housing for cooling power electronics, which has an integrated, flow-optimized cooling channel that was manufactured without seals, screws or welding processes.
